An Instalment Sale allows for the client to take suspensive ownership of the aircraft with full ownership transferring upon successful completion of the finance arrangement. This allows the client to capitalise the asset on their balance sheet, write off depreciation and claim the full VAT amount from SARS provided they are VAT registered.
A Sale and Leaseback enables businesses to raise cash against paid up assets by selling these asset(s) to Merchant West and then leasing them back from Merchant West on an Instalment Sale Agreement.
